That wonderful time again (and I don't mean Xmas)

Tonight starts my vacation from work, which to me, is sheer delight.  I have already mapped out my agenda of what I want to accomplish/complete/achieve in these next two-plus weeks, including going to the gym everyday and recording as many demos and new songs as possible.

I have begun to attack these duties and chores with a focus and determination that I'd put on the backburner for a while.  From the arcane - like taking the car in for seasonal servicing and having my new eyeglasses made - to moving furniture, gathering clothes for charity and getting songs done after the a.m. trips to the gym - this is what I want to do.  I want to tie up all these little loose ends so I can transition to 2013 with ease.

And after the last two weeks, in which I saw both The Monkees and The Who for, conceivably, the final time, I couldn't ask for more.
