Settling in...

Two more days and the apartment will be complete - the sectional is due for delivery on Sunday; the new storage cabinet will be in for pick up on Saturday and the second desk for the "studio" room came last night.  All the last elements in a 72 hour span.  Feels so good - feels like home, truly.

The change, it had to come...

So the move is complete; the new apartment is settled - but not for long, having gone out and bought all new furniture.  In two weeks, we have to dismantle the bed and haul the dressers out of the bedroom...  But okay - well worth it.  Out with the old and in with the new and solid - decisions made in the spirit of "team".

Dinner tonight at our favorite restaurant (Saturday night reservations are hard to come by...!) and a quick trip tomorrow to Ikea for a few embellishments.
